Story Time for Daddys and Boys

A good story is like playing with Legos – sometimes you put all the pieces together and you end up with a Lego robot dinosaur, and sometimes you end up with – well, with a bunch of blocks!

But as readers of this blog know, Anthony is a writer who knows how to put the blocks together and was the author of the amazing series recently posted on this site: Room for Rent, Lodger Required.

Well, Anthony is still at it – posting awesome little stories on his Tumblr.

Here’s a sneak peek of his latest (follow the link to read the whole story!):

Scott and his family moved into the house a few doors down ten-or-so-months ago and the boys hit it off instantly. They’ve been fishing, mountain biking, canoeing; they’re inseparable. I was really happy for Tom, because it looked like he found himself a really good friend.

Of course, that changed when Scott found out about Tom’s diapers. Scott saw half a packet of adult disposable diapers in the bathroom when he came over one afternoon before they headed off to the local swimming pool – I can’t believe how forgetful we are some times (father like son, I suppose?). Scott questioned Tom on what he saw, and seeing no alternative, Tom decided it was best if he told his friend the truth.

Check it out and enjoy!

  1. Doont stop now Snuggles and myself want to know what happens? Does he stay friend’s does he get his new friend to try a diaper to see how much freedom it allows, tell us more pweeeessseeeee

  2. Wonderful story! Thanks for the link to it. I think it is terrible how some people can kick their own son to the curb when they find out he is gay. I didn’t get any support from my family, but only half of them turned their back on me.

Good job Anthony I love to read a story with a happy ending!!! Cute Picture 🙂

  3. Its amazing to me on occasion when I see a blog or two I had not seen ever before. Love all the blogs and reading them. I keep my Bambinos which I use for the dinner time / evening diaper as well as one for the ni ni diaper in my bathroom on the far side so only I know what to expect when opening that cabinet. You have to move the bathroom door itself to get into that cabinet or it won’t fully open on that side. My Abenas go into my antique Baby chest (tall kind not long kind) in a lower drawer (not obvious) and it was either this baby chest or another one my sister ended up getting that my mom used to change me on- as I sorta remember that. Now I have a changing table in my room which I have to say in about the last 5 months has been much better and I like it alot better than the floor. For outings and in the right restroom (with a regular door & single room locked) the floor will work just fine. I have the back pack that has the changing Mat in it by Daddy Gear but it needs to be retired soon and a new one in its place – maybe by Summer again. 🙂

  4. while i am kinda more of a baby than a toddler, i TOTALLY could see myself having this kind of experience with a daddy. i would like daddy to pick me up tonight. drop off sunday night
