It’s the season for sleepers and overalls, mittens and corduroy pants.
It’s even the season for different diapers – maybe your Daddy put you in cloth more during the summer because of the heat, and now he has you back in Cushies or diaper covers with dark blue designs and little yellow duckies on them.
You slip into the nursery in the morning. Your little boy is asleep, his blanky a tangled mess at his feet. In the soft lighting of the room, you can already see that you were smart to put him in a night diaper: he soaked it while he slept and needs a morning change.
When I was growing up cartoons were an excuse, really, for the parents to sleep in. The kids had a distraction, they could survive on cereal, and only once did I almost burn the house down when the toast got stuck in the toaster and I was too wrapped up in Mighty Mouse to notice.
For many adult babies, the ‘diaper lover’ part of them is more important than acting younger. Baby or toddler time is relatively rare but still happens on occasion. But there IS a reason they call it AB/DL – to differentiate between those who simply like being diapered, and those who like the feeling of being their true ‘little’ selves.… Read the rest
